Is the Shamisen right for me?

I’ve been saving up for mine. Sadly still not enough. I’m starting an etsy shop to raise funds. It’s mainly jewelry and hair accessories for now. Only thing keeping me from opening the shop is the last few items in the mail. Every time I look at the shamisen on here, I feel like a kid with it’s face pressed up against the glass. If any of you are interested in what I’ve made so far, here’s a link to the tumblr blog. http://charmamity.tumblr.com/

cool name . . . as for me I am not so into that style in general so I cannot comment on the product range . . . anyone got an etsy shop for itomaki bachi or komas or are you possibly offering that too in the future? Nah I will make itomaki and koma but I might look out for some cheap or used and cheap bachi

It’s just the starter stuff. I may try my hand at sewing some Naga Fukuro though. (If we ever find the pedal to mom’s sewing machine) I think I did see some wooden Bachi on etsy, but overall they seem to lack many shamisen accessories.
