New Fiber skin

Not being rude; dad actually suggested I give it a try.

Ah, okay. Very well then. :stuck_out_tongue: I’d hate for Bachido to spark an inter-familial feud.

Ladies and gent’s…here is a quick review.

Sorry for the delay! I’d love to get a better quality mic to really give a better sound review. But you have my word, its better than the previous skin haha.

the fibersen sounds nice and bright

Yay!!!

Josh, many thanks for reviewing it. I’m going to pass it on to Masahiro now. Would you be okay if I put a youtube link to this video on the Fibersen page?

Link away good sir. Though I’d perhaps like to give a more acoustically proper video review in the near future (and also clean up my hair next time haha). But until then, feel free to link it. I do have a mini mic designed for my smart-phones that I’ll try to use next time, but it typically it picks up too much sound so I’ll have to play around with it a little. In any case though, I’m glad to be of service. Thanks again for the assistance!

It sounds really good, so glad theres a replacement for natural skin, i try to justify using it, but its just too hard

great vid! and great when you close your eyes. feeling the music

Awesome! Thanks buddy! It gives a decent feeling for the sound now. Kevin said he’ll also be getting his dou reskinned with Fibersen when he returns to Japan. I’m sure he’ll film something as well.

Liam: A tricky situation, as it was also hard to justify using the older plastic skin as well.

I believe as more people use/enjoy this skin, there will be motivation and reason for the appropriate parties in Japan to develop skin that mimics natural skin almost-perfectly!

So, when you think about getting Fibersen, you know that you will not only be improving your own shamisen experience, but will also be supporting the future development of this revolutionary skin!

And now for an espresso.
