uauu, got the estimated cost of my other form Bachido store and the shipping is more than the pack case itself… did not expect that, hmm need more money…it means I have to be very careful about my shamisen for a few weeks more… hope nothing happens to it anymore!
put two komas on the other thou, both bekkou and zouge, it is probably better to get just one, perhaps should aim for the Snakewood Zouge…
Yep, shipping ain’t cheap. In fact, I think I’m going to start stocking ito here. Nobody should have to pay $20 shipping for one set of strings.
The snakewood koma is really cool. Both Carlo and I really like the tone. I’ll probably get one myself. Anywho, bekkou or zouge would be just as good though. It depends on the tone you are wanting. Did you hear the sound of the Snakewood koma on the video?
yeah i did hear it, sound good.
i like the comment for it in the bachido store:
“Optimal for players who like to strike hard.”
hehe that sounds like me!!
Heheh. That’s Masahiro’s recommendation (which I translated to English).
“強く叩ける人に最適”
BTW, just received this youtube clip from a friend and I immediately thought about this thread.
Better make that several plastic bags And kudos to the guy.
XD haha lolz thats one this i really love about the british aswell as everyone on this side of the world really,
Nomatter what the weather they will do what they want to do
going to the beach while its snowing etc
I’m from california so i am almost 100% of the times in doors right now, its freezing out and the roomates dont like having the heating on, but when i do go out i see people in short shorts >.>;; and i’m wearing a big fluffy jacket…
I wonder if even the hardshell case would protect a shamisen in that weather!
That’s something I’d do though. When I was younger, on rainy days, my family and I would don our ponchos and walk to the beach to watch the giant waves, feel the whipping sand and rain, and get clam chowder afterwards.
Kinda funny. A few English and Japanese friends living in Santa Cruz couldn’t understand why I liked the rain so much. I realized it’s because they get it so much, it’s no longer a novelty. Santa Cruz is always teetering on a drought, so we like it when it comes.
