I’m Fiona, nice to meet you ! I’m not an tsugaru shamisen player, but when in October, i’ll go to Hirosaki and i wanna learn it !

I’m interested about tsugaru shamisen for five years when i discovered it with the anime Mashiro no oto. Since this moment, i’m became big fan and wanted to know everything about tsugaru shamisen, players and his history.

My favorite players are : Sawada Katsuaki, Shibata Masato and Kevin Kmetz (particulary his Ringo Bushi, it’s incredible !).

I’m writting an thesis of master about tsugaru shamisen history in french and I hope that to do it well.
