This girl bought a shamisen in Kyoto in April 2014 and met two guys in Asakusa (Norm Nakamura and Jamie Low) who thaught her the basics so she could start learning by herself for real. These two guys mentionned Bachido to her and back home she started learning as much as possible.

In July 2014, Kyle Abott and Aki Takahashi came to the Canadian Japanese Cultural Center in Montreal for a Workshop on Minyo and she was the only shamisen player of the whole workshop.

Practice can bring you some places you would never had dreamed of… And this girl attended the ShamiCamp in June 2015 and had the chance to meet a few members and instructors in person. It was an awesome experience and she also attended the following Shamicamps of California in 2016 and the very first one in Berlin.

She accompanied the traditional japanese dancers of Komachi Montreal four times in 2014. Later she founded MTL Shamisen Project an began to guide people who wanted to learn shamisen in her area in 2016.
