My name is Tim! I took a travel trip to Japan after watching “These Snow White Notes”, and just knew I needed to at least try to find Shamisen lessons. Of course I didn’t have any plans to buy the instrument, but when does life ever go according to plan.
I training to ordain as a Buddhist Monk in New York at a Vietnamese Zen Buddhist Monastery called Blue Cliff, and am so happy to have a space to share and engage with Shamisen people!
