As the New Year draws nigh, we take a look back at Team Bachido 2013. Simply amazing that it was possible for 20-ish people from around the world to come together and, with very little group training, play together with terrific cohesion! It was Japan’s first group division team consisting of foreigners and Japanese together, and we went in with gusto and class! Everyone who attended should feel great to be part of that history-making moment.
And you know what? We will be going back again this year, May 2014!!! For those who couldn’t go last year, now’s your chance! What’s more, we will also be having the Bachido Festival in Sapporo on the following week after the taikai! Two reasons to join us in 2014!
Nitta san and I are currently working on an official application packet, which will include an entry form, itinerary for the tour of Team Bachido, video and materials for the song we will play at the taikai, and much more.
It will take us a couple weeks to get everything together, so in the meantime, please practice Kita no Hibiki and clear your schedules for May 1st to the 10th!
