Hello! I’m new here and just got a copy of Shamisen of Japan planning to build my own shamisen (because I’m a masochist apparently). I have not read the material closely yet, but I assume the patterns are specifically for a futozao. I was wondering if anyone had guidance on how to adjust the pattern for a chuzao. As much as I want to play tsugaru style, I’m thinking a chuzao will give me more options as I get comfortable with the instrument in general.
