What material is it made from?
Bachi are heavy and difficult to use in the beginning and take getting used to. However, it may be too large for your hand. Check my article here on shaping the bachi handle. You may find it helpful.

yes certain Bachi because they are too thick , it’s a good info ! mine is a wooden bachi.
