Aibiki Shamisen App

So, as it turns out, there’s a pretty good shamisen score viewer app on the Google Play Store. It has an option for Japanese or English. Includes a tuner that changes from honchoshi to niagri to san-sagari depending on the score that you select. You can even speed up or slow down the music while you play a melody or accompaniment for the included pieces. It’s also Western notation by the way… So all in all, this has been the absolute best learning resource for me (as a beginner) but, I could definitely see this being of use to more experienced players as well as it includes some harder scores and may expand in the future… It might even be a good idea to get in touch with the creator and have him make the Bachido App or maybe make the existing app something that we can all use as an extension of this resource… I mean the app as it stands is free so it might be a real possibility if any of you Bachi-Masters are interested. I mean you never know if you don’t ask right? (Here’s looking at you Kyle/Kevin/Luke)

Anyway, I just wanted to share this with everyone so that they might get as much use out of it as I did and hopefully more. Bachi On!

Whoops, its Bunka-fu style notation. My bad guys. Long day. Kirk out.
