Hello! I’ve been playing shamisen in Japan for some months and now that I’ll be coming back to my country I’d like to know if there’s any shamisen player on this community living in Barcelona. I’d love to play together with someone else and busk on the street or something. Anyone? Or will I be a lone shamisen player in Barcelona?

I had no idea I could do that so thanks for the info Patrick. Anyway, I already got in touch with another shamisen enthusiast around my city area searching on old posts. I am so happy to play with someone else in my hometown.

Another way cool city? It IS the city to host another shamisen camp in Europe hahahah Beach, sea, good food and sunny all day. Europe’s California I’d say. And trust me when I say that japanese culture is part of most of the young people in the region so I am sure a camp would deffinetly be a success. Cultural bonds with Japan in Catalonia are really strong.
Also, I suggest to have a camp in Napoli! Napoli (in my Language) is the capital of sun in Italy!
There’s a great Martial Arts community there as well. Shuriken Jutsu and Ninjutsu that I’m training. Cheap tickets from Stockholm also!
