Hi Folks!
I wanted to get the templates shown in the book in digital form so that I don’t damage the book by leaving patches from taking the templates out. At first I wanted to just measure and draw it digitally so that I can print it, but I feel that might lead to errors so if anyone has the digital versions I would greatly appreciate the help.

yea i sent him a text in discord when i saw him online. He told me to contact him at kyle@bachido.com, which i mistook for an email address and i dont exactly know what that is.

I have the book also, but the template doesn’t give a width. Is there a standard width, or does it vary from type of Shamisen? Can anyone give me a width?

A width of what to be precise? If you have the the book it gives the measurements as you go along.
Thanks, but it’s alright now. I Contacted Mr.Abbott and he sent me the Pdf Versions of the templates.
I would buy these but considering the overall costs(incl delivery) and seeing how unreliable my country’s customs is, i decided it might not be worth it for my first build. although i plan to once i decide to make another one.

i think he mean’t in the parts where the book just asks you to follow the template.
There is no template for the Koma width.

I did come across the same issue, so i can provide you with the dimensions i used after i searched around a little on the bachido site.
Length: 72-74mm
Width: 6-9mm
Height: 8-9mm
This is found on the descriptions of few of the komas bachido is selling and I feel this to be the usual dimensions for most of the komas he’s selling.
