Me and Joshua in Kassel. So if you come someday to Kassel we can say it will be the Bachido Gathering Europe: 3 players! Unbeliveable =)
I’m not in Germany, but I want to go to jam too!
Go to the meet up in Sweden in July then you know you want to…
I’m not in Germany either, but will be back in Amsterdam in June! Maybe a get together in Vondelpark during the summer?
I am not very good at playing but I would love to get together with everyone.
Hey Neil. Maybe over summer something can happen. Are you happy to travel? My teacher will probably be in Amsterdam at some stage over summer. He also likes to travel and is usually up for invitations!
P.
I love to travel but just have to make sure the job will let me go…
I am working with Kyle’s videos and they help ALOT (all the skill I possess is thanks to Kyle)…but I think I need to have someone look at my form and see what I am doing wrong and make a few suggestions. After that I will go back to Kyle’s videos.
Neil, I think the magical thing about Shamisen is that you´re so glad to see someone playing, that nobody cares how good it is
I would like to meet up, Amsterdam is quite far from me,but what about Arnhem? Half way for all of us. Lets see if it works out.
I´m also watching the videos and they´re really nice, just bought one lesson yesterday and enjoyed it very much. I play bass so was not so hard. Would only be easier if I previously knew the song. Can´t wait for the Nitta´s shamisen course, will kick ass
I am up for meeting…I would love to get more involved in the community. I haven’t been able to practice for quite some time since I was moving from Korea to Germany. I want to get it out this weekend…I hope…but I am still unpacking. CRAZY!
Re: Bachido Euro Meetup. All I can say is, pics or it didn’t happen.
The moving, the meeting or the practicing? hahahaah.
BTW, I started saving for the NO LIMITS FREAKIN BAD ASS SHAMISEN!
Ah, the meetup. What the hell, all three!
BooYAH!!! The new wave of shamisen begins!!
That would be cool… Shamisen lesson by Arnhem bridge
I was talking to H about visiting in July so I’ll post something before then and we might be able to meet up.
Bacheuro Meetup =)
I´d go go Arnhem, it´s “only” 330km away from me. Amsterdam is too far and smells like pee and pot.
But the idea of the meeting is great, imagine 5 Shamisen players together in Europe! Closest thing to a comet in the sky.
Let´s keep in touch and see when it happens. Think if we find a date 2 months in advance, all of us can manage to go and suck playing together. Wouldn´t be great?
SOUNDS GREAT TO ME!
oh… i see you found the red light district then?
I can only say that from a professional standpoint I prefer the employees over the customers anytime . . . at least generally speaking which reminds me of that one man or woman who after physical attempts at charming me settled for opening the window and calling out to people on the sidewalk trying to pick up a customer I guess drive by style . . .
Well, Germany here too. But I’m afraid, Potsdam is a little bit far away from K’lautern…
But good to know, the nunber of Shamisen-players is increasing here, too!
(Andreas I just clicked through to your site via your profile looks great I am seriously very much looking forward to reading through your okinawa travel reports and other stuff probably this weekend!
