Automatically "converting" piano to shamisen tabs

Hello Guys,

I started practicing two weeks ago! :slight_smile:

Do you have any trick “converting” for example, piano notes to shamisen bunkafu notation?
I tried parsing MuseScore “mscx” files and converting them automatically with a script.

It sounds kinda off (either that or it’s just because I can’t play yet :)).
Any recommendation how you would have done it?

I am no help in terms of programming, but you might want to look at Masakatsu’s arrangement for how to apply it to shamisen.

I just messed up my notes.
Here is a good sounding example:

My teacher recommended to tune my strings differently in order to minimize up and down movement.
