Bachido Blogcast E46

As Kevin Kmetz was being interviewed for the Chikuzan Takahashi tribute on NHK Radio, he took the opportunity to advertise the upcoming appearance of Team Bachido at the 2013 Hirosaki Taikai! So, myself and other Bachido member(s) signed on to run through Kita no Hibiki and it’s simplified version.

Was it odd that Kevin composed it last month yet we had to pretend that we just created the whole thing in five minutes? Probably. But that’s what made it fun.

Haha! That didn’t look at all staged!!! (YEAH RITE!)

Haha I wonder what parts they used for the show.

Kevin, have you tried to get a copy of the part that they did? Would be cool to hear it all as it was on the radio, even if I can’t speak Japanese.

Mr. Sai from NHK should be emailing me soon with the date and time of the show. I think we might hear Kyle and Kyoko San’s voice . Unless they edit it a lot. Anyway should be fun and Kyoko San might be able to hear and report on it since she lives in Japan.

cool I will look around the nhk site some more anyway and in general even though I don’t speak japanese so anyway with people all over the world interested in on demand listening to this it should be available as a podcast on one of the nhk sites for sure . . .

Oh dear, oh dear! I am so excited)^o^(

Haha I just got excited also when I checked my mailbox (at home with the flu a short term one I hope) hope to hear you Kyoko and thank you so much for this awesome gift and first thing from japan for me ever and including a lucky charm a calendar and a japanese / english newspaper I will put to good use yeah I might first be able to write “geological layer” or “spark” even though it says the spice girls musical in london is lacking in any truly original or challenging such one . . .

BH: Good to hear you like them. I also enjoy to fill the Austrian calendar you sent me with my schedule.

NHK broadcast report ------

It was about ten minutes well organized report on Tsugarushamisen by Mr. Sai. Centered was Kevin san’s talk on Tsugaru instrument and it’s spirit. Well, I did not know he speaks such good Japanese a lot and it really made me feel he is half Japanese.
Mr. Sai interviewed Kevin san, and he was successfully answering and giving PR for the Bachido joining at Aomori next spring.

Unfortunately I did not hear Kyle talking and playing, but I heard a bit of my humble play and say, Thank you on Skype.

Anyway I am so glad to get such good luck to listen to the program.

Sweet dreams everyone!!

Thank you Kyoko San,
But maybe you didn’t notice…Kyle’s voice was in there for a short time. Also you could hear a tiny bit of Kyle and I practicing. But we could hear you (Kyoko San’s ) voice very clearly. Haha! That was cool! Yes. It was a very well produced radio interview. And now all the NHK radio listeners in Japan know all about our international bachido group plan for this spring! Wooooooo! Ganbarimashou !

“For safety and comfortable ride of Bernhard & his car” :-)))) That is so sweet, Kyoko. Oh my oh my, what a fabulous community we have!!!

Booyah!! I just realized that I have the capabilities to listen to NHK radio online, so I shoulda tuned in! Anyhow, great that they got a little bit from everybody! Kudos for plugging Team Bachido on the rajio, Kevin!

awesome . . . congratulations everyone !!!
