On a bright and early May 3rd, we head out to the fabled and mountainous region of Tsugaru! (Hirosaki specifically)
After picking up a stethoscope at the Konbini, we arrive at our destination. The All Japan Tsugaru Shamisen Tournament of Hirosaki!!
I will say, the audio from practice hall scene is a fraction of what it sounded like in real life. A constant din of thundering shamisen players practicing their individual tournament pieces. Like the sound of hundreds of angels…crashing to the ground!
