Bachido on Facebook

Hi Kyle,
I was trying to figure out how to send you a picture…
I have some Facebook experience, so I sent it there,
hopefully, this is okay…
Anyhow, it is a picture of the Koma that came with my Shamisen.
Have you seen one like this before?
In your earlier post you were thinking it had Sanxian parts,
because of the steel strings.
Thoughts???
Thanks, Marvin

Hi Marvin,

Good idea. I was able to see the picture. Yeah, I believe that’s a sanxian koma as well. It would be good to get replaced as well.

I have a feeling that the neo is also meant for sanxian, but the changing the koma and ito will make the most difference.

Okay, thanks I will be ordering some stuff from you and Bachido,
Very soon, I hope…
Sometimes going cheap ends up being more expensive in the long run.
I did take Norm’s advise from the other post and have been reading other posts.
It seems a few other people have done as I.
I am hoping to get in touch with some of the other people that bought a Shamisen
off e-bay from the same guy and see what changes they have made and what seems to work and what may not…
Thanks to Luke and you and everyone else,
This site is totally awesome!!! : )

Oops…
I think it was Nicholas, who was going to read the 2000+ posts…
So, I figured I would read them, too.
Great information…
I still have a lot more left to read… : )

Norm was a little late to the party on this one
lol

To those of you below, thanks for letting me know!!

Ill be quiet now haha

Actually i think there is bachido facebook site…?

lololol

Step 1: Scroll Down
Step 2: Click on Visit Bachido on Facebook
Step 3: Enjoy

Hahahaha!!! I enjoyed this.

Truth be told, I don’t think I’m using Facebook as well as I could be. It would probably behoove me to post much more content there.

as for me personally I would not enjoy content or discussions being scattered around on two sites but would prefer a focus on this forum . . . (could be that this comment’s background is scattered with some dislike for facebook though uh whatever

Very true. Me neither (I have a hard enough time keeping up with all the threads already! ) I don’t mean discussion content, but like… picture/daily content. For example, as I’ve been making the bloodwood shamisen, I’ve put pictures on my personal FB page. Recently, I wondered, “why haven’t I been putting them on the Bachido FB page as well??”

Posting Bachido Blogcasts there makes it semi-active, but I just don’t want it to appear dead.
