Can anyone translate sheet music to tab for shamisen?

I have several pieces of sheet music for traditional Japanese songs, but can’t read sheet music very well. Would anyone be willing to translate for me? I can share the tab with forum.

Hi Jessica,

I can give it a shot! I am a musician and can read sheet music, and I study nagauta shamisen. Can you read bunka-fu notation? (The three lined, numbered music of the Kine-ie school?) Its the most common form of shamisen notation, and is spread throughout most of the shamisen styles because its much easier to learn and read than traditional notation. If you can read bunka-fu, I might be able to help.

Let me know!
Joe

yes I can read bunka-fu. I found a site with at least 40 japanese folk songs only problem is there all in western notation. Free-scores.com has the sheet music. There just isn’t any forum for nagauta shamisen and is becoming very frustrating trying to learn. Even if just a few get translated it would give ppl a chance to try it out, and would keep me from pulling my hair out. lol
