So I bought a dartboard a couple of days ago for alternative finger coordination training and solid like a rock slightly embedded into the wall it hangs there (thanks to a crafty friend of course) but what amazes me even more is that earlier this first evening with serious darts I just managed to hit the board at all but now after some shots of jack daniel’s on a last throw before calling it a day i actually hit the bulls eye 2 times . . . a bad sign?
Not a bad sign at all! Actually, I give students that advice when they’re having a difficult time with shamisen (or any instrument). Basically, I think the brain can get in the way of something challenging. Whether it be learning a new language or instrument, the over thinking brain can slow is down or hinder us from… well, fluency! Many times I’ve noticed that having a little bit too drink can vastly improve my second-language or new instrument skill. Because the most important part is being relaxed!
Just my two cents at least.
sorry for the late reply, after working this past weekend i hope i get to some relaxed dart practicing again this upcoming weekend haha
anyway i have the tv on in the background and an hour ago i was distracted by that all of a sudden cause i heard PON PON PON featured as the background song of a scene in the SIMPSONS episode that was on …
Haha! Yeah! I remember that! PONPONPON on the Simpsons! Epic! I also agree with Kyle here. Who needs the sober brain! If it was up to me I think we as human beings should all just be in an altered state of mind 24/7. Then after a while the “Sober Mind” will start to seem like the altered state. Haha! That would be an epic time for humanity. But seriously though , in all honesty I have created quite a few original Shamisen compositions while being far far from sober. In the end I always end up feeling more pleased and happy with those creations than anything I’ve ever tried to write in a total straight frame of mind. So yeah BH. Keep up the Epic Darts stories ! Oh wait… Speaking of Shamisen compositions , I think I feel a Dart themed Shamisen tune starting to grow inside of my brainwaves! Dammit B H! I think you’ve done it again!!! Now I just need some kind of mind-altering substance… Let’s see. Think I’ll take a look in the kitchen and see what I can find! …Ok, see ya’ll later!
We could go through various drinks and food supplements to see what yields the best results on the board I guess . . . although I would already be content if only I had good sake . . .
I’m now torn between creating a twisted harmonic minor version of PONPONPON and starting from scratch. I might go ahead with the PONPONPON idea and simply give it the subtitle " The Darts of BH!"
Or maybe I’ll separate it all into two different things entirely. Ok…well see what happens. Oh, and fortunately I found a small bag of cocaine behind the teacups! Haha! Just kidding! Seriously! That was 100% fiction. In reality I give no support at all to the use of cocaine (except for in a comedic context) That stuff is bad news! At least for me it was a nightmare! Lots of other Great mind altering substances out there! Seriously!
Anyway, Off again to alter my mind (in a non-life-threatening way ) and create some more Shami-tunes for B H !
oh no not for bh whatever you create is great for everyone even if you should end up crediting some inspiration to me for generous and mystic reasons that i dont seriously think i deserve credit for
although that said i gotta say i think a darts themed or inspired tune sounds like a great idea and “the darts of bh” would indeed more or less objectively be a great title or subtitle although thats just my 1 cent for sure . . .
anyway flight or (dart) flights whatever anything that flies a great topic and i am gonna be at the http://www.redbullairrace.com/ season final in austria tomorrow woohoo . . . cheers . . . although that of course is just propeller aircraft why there is no eurofighters showact on the side considering that they are stationed a fuel saving walking distance of 3 miles away okay dont get me started but air race should be cool enough to make it worth the trip . . .
Yeah! I hear a shamisen tune in my mind along with that okay gonna catch some sleep now . . .
http://freecarvers.wordpress.com/2014/10/28/air-race-2/ was a cool day and worth seeing this live on location at least once … okay back to darts for now …
Ok, so I have this melody I’ve been playing around with for a while. (Sorry no link just yet, still working on it) and I think it will be great to give it the title "The Darts of B H " I’m still working on it for now but once it’s done I’ll be sure to let you know!
what an epic title would it be ready for a serious practice session I have scheduled for next weekend?
So yeah! I did it! I dug up an old idea I had for a melody on Shamisen from roughly around 6 months ago and polished it up so it became a bit more presentable and have now given it the title “The Darts of B H!” I haven’t filmed it yet but keep checking the YouTube channel shamikami in the next few days! Hope you like it! I think you may agree with me that it actually sound like a melody for Dart throwing!
Oh my will do thanks in advance … surely this shall help me focus and be my entrance music once I make it to those televised tournaments …
a snapshot made for another reason but it features a glimpse of the simple but cool enough fresh flat with shamisen and dartboard and original (print of) kyoko senga painting of mount ena in the background and salzburg my home county of the same name’s capital city in the foreground

cheers and thank god and myself for an actual 2 days off this weekend after an alright week anyway seriously coffee and whiskey for free I offer to all bachido members . . . actually I just wrote to a friend though that in case of a visit along with the cheap coffee in almost limitless supply one would definitely have to have a shot of whiskey at least after every missed bulls eye in order to politely not embarass the host

Check out the Darts of B H and speaking of Whiskey, check out another drunk Shami-Jam below the Darts!
Nice one Kevin! Your whisky jam (and that would actually taste good) was really groovy and awesome. But your Jonkara in the Misawa park was totally epic!
wow awesome thanks so much . . .
gonna send you another thank you package in time for christmas . . .
Thanks B H! Glad you liked it!
And thanks Karl! Let’s Skype sometime soon bro!
For sure! Let’s try it this weekend if you have the time!
