Hello, I’m new in this community.I really like to play shamisen then I got a broken skin used shamisen last year, so I decieded to stretch a new goat skin on it. I used nails to clasp the skin and stretch it(I can’t make kisen by my self). It worked more than i expected!!!.
But today, skin is broken again. I tried to stretch new skin but it didn’t work. The new skin i’ve got isn’t thick enough to clasp by nails. It broke when i started to stretching😥. And i had a problem to get rid of TOA glue that i used😅.
I’d like to ask:
1)What can I use instead of kisen?

I saw many people use tarp clip to replace kisen. Does it work? Is it strong enough to use?(I’m afraid it will slip off).

Does rice glue be strong enough for nagauta shamisen? I heard rice glue is easy to remove when you want to change the skin(I only have normal glutinous flour).
I know I’m not good at English, please forgive me.
Thanks for your help in advance.
