I saw a yahoo.jp auction for a really crappy, broken shamisen that came with a beautiful bachi. There were tons of bids on it and it shot up well past $100. No doubt everyone was eyeing that bachi.

How did it go? Did you get it? It looks like a pretty nice set. Both Bachis don’t appear to have been too “used”. Hope the price didn’t go up too much.
It is interesting the set item is as far as my one hour to go area.In Nagoya! I just might want to get it but I am not used to bidding. Hope Amanda will be able to get at a reasonable price.
it’s at $107 at the moment, i’m pushing my limit at the moment and not winning, but i’ll put one more bid on later and see how it goes
