This is pretty cool! An acquaintance of mine just sent me this figure skating performance, who set his piece to shamisen music.
Though I’m more of a Curling man when it comes to Olympic sports, I thought this was really awesome, that shamisen continues to enter the public arena (as it were).

The skate and shamisen are really harmonized. Cool!
The letter 風 on back of the skater is meaningful. He skates like a wind(風).

damn missed the championships.
I’m really picky when it comes to figure skating/ ice dancing, i loved the music but hated the interpretation. That’s my opinion, nothing personal, i’m VERY fussy at what i like.
