Hey folks!
It’s been busy busy busy here. Finished the last concert last night (followed with a bottle of egg nog). It was an awesome success. There will be pictures and video following.

I’m seeing a lot of awesome posts coming up that I can’t wait to see! Coming back to Santa Cruz on Monday, so there’s much to look forward to.

This is awesome! I would have loved to go to Morikami to watch you perform, but sadly it is approximately a 200 mile drive each way for me :’( Did you play taiko, shamisen, or both?!
Amanda: You know, I ask myself the same question. Espresso has been the best answer that’s come to mind so far.

By the way, the shamisen pick up you see worked awesome!! I’m so happy with it. I was nervous of feedback 'n stuff, but it came through very clearly.
Is that the first time you used the new pickup? I’m glad it worked well for you. I’m thinking about getting one for my shamisen once I get some playing experience. I can’t wait for more updates!
