I have in my possession a very fine tsugaru shamisen, which I bought late last year, and played casually, until family tragedy struck. I lost the habit, and now I can’t seem to bring myself to play again, so I would prefer someone get more use out of it than me.
It has an azuma sawari, and the wood type escapes me, but Kyle would be able to tell you what it was I imagine, I bought it from bachido out of the chukohin section. It’s in extremely good condition. The peg guards are most likely brass or coppered brass, and skin is good plastic. It has a plastic skin guard under the strings, an end cap at the top, and a purple dou protector. It also has the positions numbered with removable stickers.
I will accept any reasonable offer, but I am looking for $400, as I have very gently used it since I acquired it, on the order of 10 hours of accrued time.
