God of Shamisen lick

Hello bachido!

So I started listening to God of Shamisen a few days ago, and I’m really enjoying them! Kevin is amazing as usual… hehe.

But anyway, there’s a shamisen phrase that Kevin repeats for a bit and I like a lot in the song “The Science Fiction Of Ray Bradbury Attack” at the 4 minute mark.

I’m wondering if anyone has any idea how to play it? It sounds really wicked. I feel like I’ve heard it in a Tsugaru piece somewheres but I’m not sure, can anyone confirm this? I’ll try doing it by ear later during the week but I’m not that good at doing that (though it might be a good way to start getting better!)

Yeah I’m thinking it’s that as well. Maybe I should concentrate on learning songs and not licks :wink:

Though, this is giving me a reason to finish an algorithm to take mp3’s and converting them into music sheet. It’s been in the works for years…
