Hi Wanni, welcome to Badchido! I’m pretty new myself and just received my first shamisen last Saturday. It’s been a lot of fun working on learning my first song. I recommend you check out the Crash Courses offered for free in Bachido Schoolhouse and before the Crash course you might want to check out Christopher Took’s Body Mechanics of Tsugaru Shamisen–if you’re interested in learning the Tsugaru style. I’ve found them to be super helpful.
