Hi, just wondering if it’s possible to attach a rindou (metal cap) to the bottom end (the nakagosaki, or the bit of wood where one attaches the neo to) of a beginner Tsugaru Shamisen?
Besides the quality of the skin (be it synthetic or fibre), I feel a Tsugaru shamisen with a rindou produces a crisper sound than one without it
