It is fine Thank you!
I know that each character in a Kaomoji has a name, and if you type it right it will appear. Like sanpaku (not sure if I spelt it right) but it should appear with ∇。
I was wondering how to make the characters appear without knowing the number sequence.
My iPad automatically gives me a series of Kaomoji when I open the number keyboard of Japanese version. Just choosing one Kaomoji types it on screen. It is only when we use Japanese typing system and sorry to say English keyboard does not offer it. I think you might be able to get Kaomoji by getting Japanese language software for iPad or something.
I even don’t know each Kaomoji name, and just using it daily (^_^;)
Now I found that your saying sanpaku should be corrected as sankaku(さんかく、▷)which means triangle, and gives us a varieties of triangles. Whole Kaomoji is in Japanese language software anyway.
You need to add the Japanese keyboard IME to your devices to do the various Kaomoji.
On iDevices, go into Settings->general->keyboard->keyboards->add new keyboard. This adds a “world” icon to you bottom row that allows you to toggle between English and Japanese. Hitting the “.?123” key will show a “^_^” key that will show all the Kaomoji that Kyoko listed.
On a windows machine, if you add the Japanese keyboard, and toggle into the japanese keyboard. You can type “sankaku” and it will give you the options "三角,▼,△,。。。”. I can tell you how to add the Japanese keyboard, if interested.
The black triangle is possible on English keyboards:
hold shift, alt then on the rightside numpad type 31- ▼ or 30- ▲
I never realized till now if on an iDevice in the Japanese keyboard, if you type さんかく、it will also give you the options for the shapes, including some other triangular options! (Red ones!)
I just discovered my Japanese keyboard on my iPad, Thank You, Steven! (Now to find it on my PC, and learn how to use it there, lol)
haha get it for your phone too~ “simeji” is a good one or “go keyboard”
I have both
