Recently I was in discussions with Sir Kyle of Abbott about picking up Kokiriko Bushi for ppotential pperformance ppurpposes*. So I go on that there YouTube, look up that there song, and was pleasantly surprised to not find exactly what I was looking for on the first try.

Oh my,

I had to stop halfway through. I’m about to go to bed and I felt the subtle tingling of an earworm entering.

I feel something that’s surreal and hard to describe, but has happened before. Watching that leaves me in a state of here-nor-there, wondering who and why created this. Did kokiriko bushi (which the lyrics is that) inspire everything else? Just… why??
Then I want to shake the creator’s hand and heartily and speechlessly commend his zaniness.

And seriously… why??

Oh man, I know I’ve seen this before, but I can’t remember where or when or who showed it to me. Doesn’t really matter though, cuz it’s a killer song/vid regardless. Thanks for bringing it back into me life!

What is that ?, anyway, it’s an interesting remix of the song even if the chiptune effect is a bit strange for a traditional song
