I think it’s express or something,can you ask him if he uses any other kind of shipping,maybe slower,so it costs less… Shipping is really expensive, don’t you think 
there may be other ways,that are slower,but cheaper.

We use EMS. For large packages (like shamisen), shipping does scost 15,000 yen. But something as small as a koma, I’m pretty sure shipping would be 2500 yen (which includes insurance)
