I first played this game probably 9 years ago and when I saw this scene I instantly wanted to get a shamisen! Now 9 years later I just bought one and I love it! It is one with a thinner neck and skin but it still sounds amazing and has the sawari tone. Anyways I just to share this little piece of music because I find the phrasing to be brilliant and will hopefully inspire someone. Also wanted to ask, is the one in this video a Tsugaru Shamisen or another type? Cheers!

Haha funny, although the English voice acting wasn’t that good :slight_smile: It’s very big but the tuning pegs and the shape of the body looks more like the smaller ones. The style played is Tsugaru and the size would indicate a futozao which is the one you usually use for Tsugaru.

I suspected it was Tsugaru style. I notice you are from gothenburg home of some of the best metal bands, have you ever seen in flames there?

I’ve never seen them live. I love heavy metal but I only listen to that kind of metal occasionally. They are very skilled.

BH yes the famous bachi tower. People gather from all over the year every year.
