Hello
I am new to this community and I am looking for a teacher that does online lessons through FaceTime or something similar.
I don’t mind learning what I can from videos or books but I’ll be honest I am not the best at that kind of learning.
Thanks for any help regarding this.

Yes, I agree they are excellent. I am not musically gifted at all so it’s difficult for me to kinda self teach with videos.

If you can speak Japanese (to some extent, anyway) I could get you in touch with Takuya Hamatani. He’s a seasoned instructor of min’yo, tsugaru, and okinawan sanshin.
If you can’t speak Japanese at all, I think Oyama Kouzan is still doing online lessons. He’s perfectly fluent in English.

https://www.youtube.com/@shishido_institute is the teaching focused one, I believe.
