I am setting up a food based channel on youtube and I want to play some shamisen music at the opening and the closing. So I am looking for some songs that are food based or in some way related to food for the opening and some that are a way of saying see you later or good bye for the closing. Thanks ahead of time to all those who help.

I can think of quite a few songs that mention food in some context!
Nanbu Mochi Tsuki-Uta (A song for making mochi from the Nanbu/Nambu area of Tohoku)
Akita Ame Uri (A song from the perspective of a candy/sweet seller. From Akita)
Dounan Natto Bushi (A song about Natto from the Dounan part of Hokkaido)
Awamochi (A lively Tokiwazu piece named for the traditional Sweet!)
I don’t think I know many shamisen pieces about saying goodbye that aren’t very sad. My absolute favorite is from AmamiOshima.
I share it pretty often. Note that this is an Amami-Shamisen piece (which is played on a sanshin with a small, stick like bachi)

Thank you, I’ll take a look at these and see if I can find some sheet music for them so I can start learning the ones I like and I’ll add the recordings to my videos.
