I have been hit by quiet the misfortunate, one of the Itomaki of my Tsugaru Shamisen broke and I am looking to buy a new one to replace it. I wanted to know if anyone knows any shop that sells those individually and able to ship those to Israel.

The shop here at Bachido sells itomaki, as do most shamisen stores~

a little dumb suggestion but isn’t Herzliya the place where OD Guitars have their workshop?
These guys craft some awesome guitars with some mad woodcarving skills and maybe if you could ask them to make one itomaki, you could avoid all custom troubles and extra taxation.
Or try Eitan Bartal in Tel Aviv Jaffa. (A great builder of flamenco guitars.)
I mean, asking doesn’t cost you a dime and some craftsment might want to take the challenge in crafting something belonging to another instrument that they might not even know yet. (Our local bagpipe maker made some replacement tuning pegs for my sitar and they turned out to be pretty good)
Otherwise, I have no clue, sorry.
