If anyone is in or around the St. Louis Missouri area on Sunday April 19th, Matsutoyo Kai (Japanese folk music association) will be performing and holding a lecture at the Touhill on UMSL campus. We don’t get this sort of event in the midwest too often so I’m excited to be able to attend. Usually the Japanese Festival around Labor Day weekend is when we get to see this sort of show.

PS: If you happen to be in St. Louis over Labor Day weekend, the Japanese Festival is insanely huge and a lot of fun. Highly recommend it.
