Oh man, they fit so well together! Glad we could pleasantly surprise! 
Interestingly enough (or not), Road to Lisdoonvarna was the first song we recorded in Sapporo. We were so stoked with how it turned out, but Nitta later found out that the Phantom Power wasn’t turned on, so the shamisen was going to be so hissy as the gain jacked up.
Well, Patrick, the audio wizard of Gadgetbox, was able to use his powers on those Sapporo-recorded shamisen tracks. Covered with other the instrumentation (recorded with Phantom Power, I might add), he was able to turn it into a song we can be proud to have on the album!
