Mt. Fuji Serenades for Futozao Shamisen solo (and a repost of the Hosozao Serenades)

Sheet music (from scribd) and audio after the jump. Looking for players and constructive criticisms. Obviously, these are just sampled recordings lacking several of the articulations, basically just plucked notes is all EastWest is good for. So be sure to consult the sheet music as you listen so you know why things are sounding weird.

They are organized into movements so that you would be able to stick a movement or two into the program of a recital without having an all Connor Helms recital. Each one is 30 minutes total, five movements of 4 minutes, and a 6th movement of 10 minutes.

Hi Connor.
I wanted to ask, as did the score?
What program did you use?, Because I’m doing a guitar transcriptions, and use the Guitar Pro, but the tab does not look good, does not correspond to the marks of Shamisen.

in order to avoid clutter, I kept the details and techniques in the stave notation and let the tabs just be the numbers spaced out rhythmically aligned with the noteheads up above. I used sibelius 7. If anything, guitar pro would be easier to notate things tab wise, but it’s not as good as sibelius in terms of the stave notation.

Just curious, would it be intended to have all the notes as downstrokes, or would there also be hajiki and sukui techniques as well?
