My first shamisen repair

I dont have photos of the original because im an idiot, but i designed a replacement skin, dyed a ton of old scrap fabric from a kimono, built a tenjin cap and doukake. And then set up this beauty so it can played again and I can finally start learning. Let me know what y’all think.

Nitrocellulose lacquer. It works well and it’s cheap. I have more photos, but none of my uploads go through well when I post on bachido haha
