Hi all! Was just wondering if anyone had had a chance to try out any of the new bachi listed on the shop, namely the Pantera bachi or the Takayama one, and any thoughts/experiences about either to share?
Hi! I have a Takayama bachi (N8) wich i absolutely ADORE, but it’s the only tsugaru bachi I ever used or even seen up close other than basic plastic bachi that came with instrument. Here they are side by side:
It’s very very beautiful (i happen to love color yellow and not really like bekkou pattern, sue me) and obviously much nicer than plastic one. I saw a vid where Yoshida brothers were praising Takayama line as a very good bekkou replacement, and because I like Yoshida brothers I trust their judgement)
