Newcomer to the Bachido community

Hello, everyone.
I am Itashami, the newcomer to the Bachido community. I am a amateur shamisen player, and like to play Japanese popular songs on the Tsugaru-shamisen. I also post shamisen videos on Youtube(https://www.youtube.com/user/itashami/videos).
Usually I just practice the shamisen alone at home. Now I would like to get acquainted with shamisen players all around the world. I would be so glad if I could have some talk or discussion on shamisen with bachido forum members.

Wow! I’m a huge fan of yours
Welcome to Bachido!
I’m Ian, from the United States. I play tsugaru shamisen as well. Your videos actually helped me want to learn how to play shamisen, so thank you for that
Bachido has been incredibly helpful to me, and I hope you enjoy it too. Keep up the great work.
I look forward to your posts here!

Welcome to bachido! I’m Jasman from Singapore and I also play tsugaru shamisen.

Wow I had no idea this would ever happen. I’m also a huge fan of your videos! I enjoy them very much. Do keep up the great work!

Thanks for kind messages. I’m so surprised that some Bachido members already know about me! Let’s enjoy shamisen together!

I watched some shamisen teaching videos of Bachido on Youtube. They seem to be really helpful especially for those who learn by themselves. And if mines could also be a bit of help, I would be so happy.

Jun, I’m Sakuraharu! Welcome to bachido! Have a great time here! Do you play taught by yourself?

Thank you.
I had taken shamisen lessons for several years, but now I just learn by myself. And how about you??

Well… I don’t play any sort of traditional Japanese instruments

I, anyway, LOVEEEEEEEEEE wagakki

And also my best friends are wagakki players!

Hi Jun, is there a reason that you hide your identity in all of your YouTube videos?

Maybe he wants to not reveal his identity for privacy, or to ave a “mistery” aura. I’m the same on an application called smule

Not for such a profound reason haha. I am just too shy to show my face on the internet… or maybe it is a kind of cultural thing. In Japan, people tends to hide there identities on the internet (not so true to younger generation though).

Hi! I know some Japanese friends who don’t want to reveal theirselves!

Jun, I have to ask you a question in a private conversation. I cannot send you a PM, though. Could you? Thanks!

I don’t how I can receive private messages on my Bachido account. Do I need some settings for this?

Private messages will appear in your inbox on the top right corner right beside your user name. But to send Sakura a pm,you need to click on her user ID. You will be brought into her profile whereby you can Sene her a private message. Sakura is having some problems sending private messages

Thanks for your instructions! I thought that my account is refusing her private messages and I have to change settings. Now I understand! So it’s OK if I send her a message at first.

Hi Jun! Welcome to Bachido! I’m glad you joined the community!!

Oh! I’ll be in Japan (mostly Tokyo) in this October. Maybe we should make some fun videos together! I’ll find something to hide my face with too!

That’s so fantastic!! I really hope to play the shamisen together. But I suppose you don’t have to hide your face haha.

Oh, we should both hide our face for symmetry!
