A present from Grant and Kevin in Japan.
Haha, of all the songs…
nice one guys!
loving the background, and of course the performance !
Nice! Great location and wardrobe!
Yeah you got a good sound going on there. Was there walls on the other sides as well? Sounded like some good acoustics.
It’s a pretty cool outside amphitheater. They often have farmer markets there and small events. I would attribute the acoustics to the “dome” ceiling covering the whole area. It’s a neat place.
Haha this is awesome!
Good work both of you
(loved Karl’s comment :DDD)
Just showed this tune to my girlfriend because she loves charlie and the factory, she genuinely thought it was awesome
Hey Kevin, you guys should try pulling off another Gaga tune before you part!
No Gaga this year, but we did manage to cover Umbrella by Rhianna and Captain Jack Sparrow by the lonely island. Grant, Anne and I have uploaded a bunch of videos within the past week on shamikami channel. We also did an ad lib Yasabruro bushi and played the tune from my LSD trippin post which I titled Completely sober Shamisen session cause I got some complaints from the original title.
Hope you guys get to check em out sometime.
Well buddy, you’d make me smile if you played while hopped up on espresso.
I’ll admit, that’s pretty awesome
Stellar! What an unlikely shami tune. As Karl said, the accoustics rock. And thumbs up for “the spinner!”
yeah I thought already the title is cool and think the performance is a convincing demonstration of that one can be sober and have fun
Yes…completely …er… Sober.
yeah I was about to say, lets not turn the shamisen into a government approved form of clean fun
I guarantee you, that whenever the spinner is involved, there is not a sober person to be found.
as this clip I think is an inspiration to us all to also enjoy the time between weekends I just watched it again and haha I actually find that string strike and vibrato that Kevin does BEFORE the spinner the greatest part I mean the timing is just hilarious . . .
Yeah! I don’t “lol” from videos that often, but the timing of the antics after the song was priceless! Pure, spontaneous magic!
