Today as I was talking to my wife I thought about the Shamisen. As a Banjo player the Banjo was my first love but in the last few months the Shamisen has become a passion of mine.
Looking at America the Shamisen is still an unknown and unique instrument to those who do not know the history and culture. I have decided to begin the foundation of starting the great american shamisen company to build good shamisens at a fair price including picks and build cases. I want to see the shamisen in hands of people who will enjoy them and maybe innovate the image of the instrument.
