I ordered a shamisen from ebay. (Hosozao shamisen)
I adjusted the strings in “D” “G” “D”
Practice by myself with simple songs. (sakura)
But can not play other musics songs.
Because the position of the fingers may be wrong.
Please advise me about the positioning of the fingers.
I attempt to use triangle white stickers then put in the 1st-19th position of the fingers on the sao.

Maybe it is not so helpful to use the finger position sticker for the moment. The reason is because the positions can change slightly if you don’t place your koma just right. Also if you have a hosozao the numbers might not match. I would recommend using your ear and emotions to guide you at this time.
