Of course! 2013 was the year of building up the DIY shamisen instruction materials. I feel 2014 will be the year of getting physical shamisen communities started.
As we know, Takahashi san and I led a crash course style workshop in San Jose.
Feeling the enthusiasm that everyone had (beginners to advanced), I’m confident that a strong shamisen community can be formed here, and along with the teachers in Private Instruction, real life communities can grow around the world!
Then again, I’ve just had a fabulous cappucino, so just might be feeling optimistic right now.
So ganbarimashou Mr. Kmetz! Let’s get real shamisen communities forming!
