I finally received my first tsugaru shamisen earlier this month and have been (slowly) going through the first crash course here. At the same time, I have been looking for tsugaru private lessons to help get the basics down solid. I’ve looked around this forum and found a few older posts and was wondering if those teachers were still active and available for online lessons (I live in Central Illinois so there’s nobody local that I’m aware of) or, if not, if anybody here could point me in the direction of a teacher.
