I was wondering what kind of shamisen was used to play this song?
what kind of technique is also used in the song? sorry for asking so many questions as I am new.
I’m no expert, but that actually sounds synthesized to me. A nagauta shamisen might offer a similar sound.

It’s surely done on a keyboard but the parts themselves can probably be pulled off on a futozao (Tsugaru) Shamisen. However I kinda agree with Cody as well, that a nagauta might work fine.
