Hello All
The Itomaki I have got with the instrument are quite worn out and have steps from the fittings in the tenjin.
Any ideas on how to re-fit them properly beside using the sandpaper to get rid of the steps?
Best regards,
Alexey

Hm, if you want to make the wood on the itomaki thicker, maybe dipping it in resin would do the job?
I have used lathe and sand paper to extend tapered part deeper into hex part. It did the work so the cone part now can go deeper.
I am planning to use rosin to increase the friction as well.
Ah, that’s also very clever! Got to keep that in mind
