I saw Reigen playing this on YT today, and frankly I’m surprised no one has posted it before. This is a very unique shamisen.

Looks like Enju Kouhou offers a full acrylic model, an acrylic sao model, and custom design option for the full acrylic. They’ve got pricing for the bachi and koma on offer, but nothing for the shamisen itself, at least that I can find. I’d guess somewhere between 150,000 and 350,000 yen.

They’ve also got custom acrylic/wood bachi options that look super similar to the ones here on Bachido by Josh Curry. Pretty interesting stuff.
