Masahiro is making connections with a shamisen shop, which provides good skinning services. Once I get price information, it will be open.
Is it reskinning services you need? Or other?
Will the new skin be dog, or synthetic?

The repair shop will offer professional skinning services in Japan, which include dog, cat, and synthetic. It will cost $100~$400, depending on the quality.
I will also list Jessica Dowd, who is also providing skinning services for a very reasonable price using calf skin. It doesn’t sound like dog skin, of course. But for beginners who want to get a broken shamisen up and running, I recommend getting it repaired by her…
how much would the repair be with calf skin? ( not that my shamisen is broken or anything… Just curious :PP)
