Hi! Last year I got to travel to Japan for the first time, and picked up a sanshin at a great little music shop in Shinjuku. So far I’ve only adapted the instrument to Appalachian fiddle music:
I’d love to learn some traditional sanshin repertoire and playing style (and maybe adapt some western folk music to that style). Are there any players in the Austin area I could hang with and play some music?
